Final submission of Drawings of Villa Muller

We tend to believe that the staircase running all the way up from the entrance level are mainly for servant area, because the connection between other rooms, spaces and the staircase itself are relatively isolated, compared with the stairs running, sometimes join the floor, in the centre.

Personlly speaking, the most interesting part attracts me are the levels different from even just the same floor pieces. In these two poster, the blue area identify the higher floor compared with the lower part on the same level, yellow painted, the most white area of all plans are the shared zone, which visitors and hosts can all enjoy the sense of movement in the building.

For the 3 little illustrates on 3 plans are the parts interest me. First is the changing room for hostess, and the second small piece are the level changes from the living area to the dining room, where the stairs turning around and keep moving. Lastly, the fire place for the beautiful finished living room.

"My architecture is not conceived in plans, but in spaces (cubes). I do not design floor plans, facades, sections. I design spaces. For me, there is no ground floor, first floor, etc...For me, there are only contiguous, continual spaces, rooms, anterooms, terraces, etc. Storeys merge and spaces relate to each other."
